“Growth doesn’t happen in your comfort zone, man.” - Theo Von

Lead by Example.

Vincent is a sophomore and current Head Trader in the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group. He is an Honors Tutorial College student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, focusing on Finance and Data Analytics. Vincent has enjoyed growing professionally and personally in the group by making lasting connections with current members and alumni and learning the essentials of financial research. Vincent has always prioritized continuously learning in all aspects of life and has loved the ability that OUSEMG affords to him to always discover new concepts and innovate new ideas.

Outside of this group, Vincent is an Active Member of the Ohio University Wandell Leadership Fellows. Vincent also works as a Lead Tutor in the Academic Achievement Center, tutoring students in accounting, finance, and analytics, while acting as a resource for other tutors. Vincent believes that the field of Finance is complex in nature and wide in scope, but is most interested in future possibilities that offer a steep learning curve. He is currently looking ahead to future internships in the field of Investment Banking.

Outside of the classroom, Vincent enjoys working out, playing sports, playing poker, and traveling, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers fail to gain traction in the playoffs year after year. He is particularly moved by personal relationships and supportive community, which has led him to be heavily involved in charity work. In his senior year of high school, Vincent went on a volunteer trip to Honduras after a successful shoe drive in his community with a non-profit organization called Soles4Souls. He also founded and created the Miles2Meals Initiative, which seeks to reduce local hunger and poverty around Pittsburgh through a relay-race festival event. He finds fulfillment and value in helping others and seeks to continue contributing and growing personally as he advances in his academic and professional journey.
