John is a highly motivated senior in Ohio University’s College of Business set to graduate in May 2025 majoring in Finance and Business Analytics. In his time in college, John has been on the Dean’s list three times and the President’s list three times, demonstrating his commitment to academics. 

John joined the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group as a freshman in the fall semester of 2021. In his time in the group, John has held three different leadership positions. He stepped into his first position when he was chosen to be a Head Analyst during the fall semester of 2022. As a Head Analyst, John built three well-rounded pitches, all of which resulted in a significant amount of capital being invested across AVB, NDSN, and UTHR. The semester immediately following that he moved up to the Executive Board as a Portfolio Manager for a year before being promoted to President for the following year. John has recently stepped down back to the Analyst position and provides a veteran presence in the group.

After graduation, John will be going into investment banking at Marshberry in Woodmere, OH. Prior to getting his return offer, John interned with MarshBerry for two summers, gaining crucial industry experience and knowledge. John credits a large part of his personal and professional growth to his two summers as an intern with MarshBerry. He is very excited to continue to the next chapter of his professional life and looks forward to immersing himself in the fast-paced environment of investment banking.

Beyond academics and work, John is an active member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, where he participates in community service initiatives, including environmental and food security projects. John’s favorite things to do include golfing, watching sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
