Staying Involved.

Despite his short tenure, the group has grown Jake professionally and personally more than he ever imagined. Jake is pursuing certificates in sales and real estate, striving for an internship and any future opportunities within commercial real estate and investment banking. Jake credits OUSEMG for giving him the opportunity and resources to immerse himself in finance and investments, as well as fostering connections with like-minded members.
In addition to his role with OUSEMG, Jake serves as the Director of Engagement for The Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, fostering connections through professional and social events for over 600 active members. Prior to Ohio University, Jake was the President of his FBLA chapter and volunteered with the Japan-America Society of Pennsylvania to build connections and utilize his fluent Japanese.
In addition, Jake founded his own home service business, scaling up to over 100 clients and managing a team of his friends. Outside of the classroom, Jake enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and anything active, such as golf, soccer, skiing, and hiking. In the future, Jake plans to continue to learn as much as he can in all fields, as well as learn how to properly tie a tie.
