Coen is a Freshman and current Head Analyst in the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group. He is a motivated Finance and Data Analytics major from Marietta, Ohio, with a strong passion for equity research and investment strategy. Coen has relished the opportunity to grow within OUSEMG, forming lifelong friendships and alumni while learning the fundamentals of financial analysis and portfolio management. Coen values the collaborative and innovative environment that OUSEMG fosters, allowing him to continuously improve his soft and technical skills. As Head Analyst, he takes pride in mentoring other members, encouraging critical thinking, and driving the team toward achieving measurable success.

Beyond OUSEMG, Coen is currently working to pursue a career in Investment Banking. He has certifications from both Wall Street Prep and Bloomberg Market Concepts. He is currently working to land an internship mastering financial technicals and continuing to expand his network.

In his free time, Coen enjoys working out, cooking, outdoors, working on cars, and Ohio State football. He also enjoys dedicating his time to the Mid-Ohio-Valley Alzheimer’ Association due to his late grandfather. He has done this by helping set up for the annual walk and serving on the board to help foster a community within the organization. Coen has also held fundraisers within the school and spoke at several events to help spread awareness about the disease. He hopes to one day find a cure for this disease to help others not go through this painful disease.
